Ohio politicians just proposed a monthlong celebration of straight, married couples called “Natural Family Month.” The bill’s authors say the holiday is intended to reverse flailing birthrates by uplifting families who can procreate naturally (in wedlock, of course). But LGBTQ+ rights advocates argue it’s a clear-cut attempt to erase and subjugate queer families.
