A Christian lifeguard is suing Los Angeles County alleging religious discrimination, arguing that he should not have to be exposed to the LGBTQ+ Pride flag while on duty. LA County requires Pride flags be flown at beaches throughout the month of June, and the lifeguard already received a religious exemption to avoid raising the flag himself. But now, he says he should not be required to be near the flag at all.
