Can Jesus Be Apache?

The disappearance of a painting depicting Jesus Christ as an Apache medicine man from a New Mexico church has many Native Americans upset, feeling as though they’re being forced to choose between their faith and their culture. Congregants say they’re still waiting for an apology, and acknowledgement that being Catholic and being Apache aren’t mutually exclusive.
