So I got myself ordained through the Universal Life Church and ordered Handfasting and Wedding Rituals. My friends told me they were hoping the ceremony would include several earth-based religious rituals. Not being incredibly familiar with Paganism or Wicca, this book turned out to be incredibly helpful. The authors, Raven Kaldera and Tannin Schwartzstein, describe in such thorough detail the steps of performing Handfasting and Wedding rituals. Each ritual is given a rating which ranges from vaguely spiritual to strongly Pagan. This worked great for me as I was able to discuss the marriage ceremony with my friends and incorporate everything they were looking for. I can't wait to perform my next handfasting ritual, and I'll have this handy guide ready for when I do.
