Microchips may be the I.D. system of the future.

Microchips are roughly the size of a grain of rice, and can do everything from opening doors to buying your lunch. Would you get one?

New technology has always been met by some with suspicion, disdain, and even outright fear; examples of this can be seen with the advent of the internet, barcodes, and, if we go back far enough, even printed media. But new advancements in fields like biometrics have some people wondering again if it’s spiritually safe to take advantage of certain technological innovations.  Is technological innovation a stepping stone toward the end times as described in the Book of Revelation?

Technology of the Future

Much of the technology sparking biblical fears involves identification devices like fingerprint scanners, facial recognition, and eye-scanning software. This technology uses complex algorithms when examining some part of your body in order to make sure that you’re really you.  But is submitting a piece of yourself to a computer a danger to your body, your privacy, or even your soul? Some worry that such technology may represent the Mark of the Beast.

In fact, back in 2015, a man named Beverly Butcher was awarded more than half a million dollars after suing a former employer for attempting to install a mandatory hand-scanner to track employee time and attendance. Butcher cited his belief in a link between the technology and the Mark of the Beast, as well as the Antichrist described in the Book of Revelation. Although Butcher won the lawsuit, the whole ordeal stoked fears about changes yet to come. Will technology eventually control every aspect of our lives?

Microchip Implants and the Beast

It’s certainly trending in that direction. For example, scientists have been toying with the idea implanting microchips in humans since the late 1990s. Thanks to modern breakthroughs, they can now make devices roughly the size of a grain of rice. These microchips can serve many functions: from basic identification, to unlocking doors, and even sending or receiving payments. But perhaps we shouldn’t be so quick to embrace this latest high-tech advancement.

Case in point: last month, a tech company in Wisconsin called Three Square Market began offering to install microchips in their employees as a way to access the office building and pay for meals in the company’s cafeteria. The program was completely voluntary, and yet a majority of the company’s employees decided to get the chip implanted anyway.

So much for personal privacy. Will all employees of the future be required to wear microchips? Is the added convenience of not taking out your wallet to pay for lunch really worth having a tracking chip implanted in your body?

A depiction of the Mark of the Beast in the form of a microchipMoreover, the microchip’s ability to carry out monetary transactions has some biblical scholars genuinely concerned; Revelation mentions that after the arrival of the Beast, no commerce will take place except by those who have accepted his Mark. Perhaps the Mark of the Beast won’t be something as simple as a number, but instead a chip implanted in the hand or forehead.

Are We Right to Be Worried?

So far, the issue hasn’t garnered much attention. Anyone who voices concerns about this new technology is written off as worrywart who is resistant to change — no better than the people who opposed the internet, telephones, or printed media when those things were first invented. However, it’s hard to deny there are similarities between implanted microchips and the prophecy of Revelation and the Mark of the Beast. Could there be a link?

Why worry now we saw this coming many years ago and did nothing to stop this. You can be implanted by your Dr. In an ordinar.office visit this is going on now. So why be upset you are probably implanted just keep praying you’re not. E.m. rev

They’ve been in use for over 40 years according to a Finish report Dec 2000.

  2. James says:

Credit is the mark of beast. Think on it. Worth nothing, has no actual value, but you can’t live here without it, no good job, no good house, no good school, etc. Yet it isn’t controlled by any one person and can be changed with a lie. It is what money is based on, business is based on, the govt is based on. This is why hard banks funds can be seized if you don’t have a supporting document stating where it came from and what you’re doing with it. So basically, hard assets are a controlled substance, but credit is legal tender. Because it can be manipulated so easily. A chip in your hand is only a symptoms of the need to access credit. Just some food for thought.

    1. Mary white says:

Some form of credit has always existed since the beginning of time w/ markers notes and even hand shake agreement. Even paper money has no value unless you give it value. Paper money represents gold, but if gold has no value then money you carry becomes worthless. The mark of the beast is pacific, it say will be around hands or forehead. Credit an debit cards are just conditioning to make the transition easier to the mark. It allows you to faze out currency in paper form or coin. Its conditioning not the actual mark. The mark will have to be physical on your body or in.

“biblical scholars genuinely concerned; ” which ones specifically?

    1. HSW says:

      Excellent question.

    2. angel722 says:

I’m not a christian at all and I’M concerned! If people can hack your cc’s and computer’s, it’s only a matter of time before they hack into and reproduce your chip! Identity theft would be out of control, not to mention complete monitoring by the government! First medical records, then to purchase groceries, to get a job and probably deposit your paycheck. They could add a tracking devices and God knows what to where they can monitor everything we look at, everything we say, ect. Then, they will take away freewill, you want a job, you must have a chip! This idea is bad, bad bad! And it will, over time, take away currency altogether and become your currency.

      1. DA says:

        good point…..and i say No, No, NO….and NO….

      2. Clare Foshee says:

It already happening in Sweden. The majority of banks are now cashless; it is all blips on a computer screen. Identity theft is at an all time high there. Only a matter of time before they start chipping people. Then, all bets are off; yes those chips can be hacked, and did you know, that was one of the things hilary c tried to push through the U.S. congress in 2000. It was then part of the obamacare thing. Mandatory chipping. See books by D. Icke.

Are Microchips a Sign of the End Times?

    A BIG NO.

    1. Rev paul collins says:

It’s my belief that the microchips will be used at some point to administer the mark of the beast

      1. Dan Anderson says:

Paul – out of curiosity (not condemnation), why do you believe so?

      2. John Owens says:

I get it, Paul. They will have to keep track of things, somehow, and that’s as good a way as any, I suppose.

        1. Clare says:

Look at the Internet of Things. Only a matter of time before they try to get people chipped, so they can interact electronically. Not a good idea, in the long run. See the short story, “House Arrest”

  5. Re. Nancy Willingham says:

Is “mark” or “mark of the Beast” the symbolic meaning of “microchip”? If one is seriously considering that interpretation, then the entire Book of Revelation must be taken symbolically. On that point I totally agree! I’m so glad that a multi-headed beast is not going to rise up out of the sea like Godzilla. Christians have been interpreting that book for 1800 or 1900 years (it was the last book of the Bible to be written, and almost didn’t get into the canon). So all those interpretations for all those centuries were wrong. Little did they know that the “mark” refers to the microchip which would not be invented until the 20th century. Who knew? God must be having a good laugh, that rascal. Speaking of God, why not ask Him? What is the meaning of the “mark of the beast” in my life? As a minister, it is my job to help folks answer such questions.

    1. Christopher Holloway says:

I totally agree with you. good post.

    2. HSW says:

It probably shouldn’t have been included.. It reads like something written during an LSD-infused dream.

    3. Carl Elfstrom says:

Do you believe in the dreams you have in your sleep ? Why not, if you believe in the dream some crackpot had thousands of years ago ? I think the modern word for prophet is schizophrenic. As an interfaith minister I support people in whatever they choose to believe in and don’t preach to them about anything. I have found profound truths in all religions and a lot of bullshit too. I’m still glad I peed on my Bible and threw it in the trash when I was eighteen ( now that I’m fifty-four). But whatever floats your boat…

      1. John Owens says:

Just to be something of an advocate of moderation:

There wouldn’t be any “faiths” if it were not for some visionaries in times past. Technology would not be where it is if it were not for visionaries. John may well have been watching a giant flat-screen television and seeing a movie something like Heavy Metal, and trying to describe what he saw. He was under house arrest on the Isle of Patmos when he wrote the Revelation. We can be relatively sure he spoke at least four languages– Aramaic, Latin, Hebrew, and Greek. For his time, he was very well traveled and educated.

That doesn’t mean he WASN’T a kook, but nobody refers to Jules Verne as schizophrenic, and he was definitely prophetic in his writings. Lewis Carroll doesn’t draw a lot of criticism for Alice in Wonderland, even though it is said he was using opium to treat himself for migraines when he wrote it. Then there is H.P. Lovecraft, Edgar Allen Poe, Steven King, the list goes on and on.

Sociology teaches us that society typically moves along without changing until it is acted upon or contributed to by “creative individuals” who usually make their greatest contributions after seclusion or withdrawal from society for a certain time, as in John’s imprisonment in Patmos, Christ’s 40 days and 40 nights, Moses’ 40 days and 40 nights, Ralph Waldo Emerson’s retreat to Walden, Elton John and Bernie Taupin’s stints writing Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy album, etc.

There is a lot of wisdom in that Bible that you say you peed on. Still, physically, it’s just paper and ink, like any other book, I suppose. It’s value depends upon the person is reading it.

        1. Carl Elfstrom says:

You’re right about there being a lot of wisdom in that Bible I said I peed on when I was eighteen. My Thomas Kinkade Family Bible sits directly across the room from my favorite chair.A picture of Jesus exposing his Sacred Heart sits behind it, and I throw kisses at it several times a day. Next to that is my dining table behind which on the wall is Divenci’s The Last Supper, behind me on the wall is Raphael’s Sistine Madonna. Also on the walls of my tiny studio are Jesus at Gethsemane and St. Michael the Archangel vanquishing the powers of evil beneath his feet by BartolomeEsteban Murillo, and have motivational quote posters by Pope Francis, Mother Teresa, Buddha, Confucius, Michael Jordan, Nelson Mandela, Gandi, and Einstein, as well as Foot Prints in the Sand,Carpe Diem, and Desiderata. I also have books, cassettes, and DVDs of visionaries you mentioned such as Edgar Allan Poe and Louis Carrol ( as well as many others ), but still don’t consider myself a Christian per se, and am still glad I peed on my Bible and threw it in the trash when I was eighteen. I’m also still glad I quit highschool in my senior year. And if schizo St. John had been taking his meds… Not a bad writer for someone with a G.E.D. and a severe closed head injury, eh? I also have seven honors diplomas from Stratford Career Institute, and a twenty three year chip from Narcotics Anonymous. So I Think I’ll make a good minister. I think highly of the things you say in this blog sir. Keep up the good work.

  6. Christopher Holloway says:

I don’t think the Bible is very specific on what is or isn’t the Mark of the Beast. The Book of Revelation says that it is a mark that will be either on ones hand or forehead and what it will allow us to do if we have it or not.
I, personally, think that it’s a precursor to more Satanic things to come but according to the Bible there isn’t any real explanation to what this Mark will be. We need, as Christians, be be careful to accept such things but remember that God said that we shouldn’t be anxious in our everyday lives. We will know when this evil is implemented and what to look for if we are living a real life led for Jesus Christ.

    1. HSW says:

“I, personally, think that it’s a precursor to more Satanic things to come…”

Just FYI, this isn’t a Christian site so not everyone is going to share that particular viewpoint. I, personally, will have to revisit the whole thing when I stop laughing out loud.

  7. Tom says:

There is no “Beast”…but watch for the promoting of embedded microchips being promoted as ways of accessing medical information quickly…watch for the promoting of having the chips installed in newborns, criminals, etc…this will be one of the new civil rights battlegrounds…

    1. angel722 says:

The beast is a symbolism for the government, it’s not literal, so yes, there is a “beast” and it’s called the UN!

      1. Aal says:

Angel722, could you unpack that a bit, esp the beast being UN? (This is a non trolling, completely serious question – I am a first time visitor to the site).

      2. Dan Anderson says:

Angel – Do you believe that the UN is a government? The last I checked, it was an organization of governments established to help keep humanity from causing more wars, but NOT a government per se.

        1. Todd says:

The UN is a governmental body. It is unsuccessful in 90 percent of the endeavors it does. We send way too much to them. More than we get back in aid, help etc. The wastefulness of it is staggering. Half the aid it sends does not make it to the people. I for one Think it has outlived its usefulness. Time to pull out and charge them rent

          1. John Owens says:

Todd, you are way too knowledgeable and sensible for most of these people. Glad you’re here!

  8. HSW says:

Tom, I agree. There is no beast, no mark, none of that, but the chips are coming in some form, and the one that seems likely to be most pervasive is the “instant access to your medical records” use. I’m not by any means a tin-foil-hat wearer, but this has the potential to open up a host of issues, not the least of which is privacy. Presumably these chips will be registered, and there is nothing to stop their being used for much different purposes than that which we thought we were allowing – tracking, general invasion of privacy, so many ways it can go wrong.

It may very well be, as you say, the new civil rights battleground.

  9. Tom says:

HSW…thank you…i truly believe this will be a huge issue, because of its potential for control of data and individuals…Tom

  10. angel722 says:

It’s a sign of government tracking and control and eventually leading to a one world government. We will all be dead before it even get’s to that point.

    1. Dan Anderson says:

Angel – do you really think that humanity is that humble to where they would allow for there to be only one government? Look at Mr. Kim of North Korea, Idi Amin and a slew of others. I think, personally, that there are too many “checks and balances” in humanity to allow only one government.

  11. John Owens says:

In my faith, we believe most likely the mark in the forehead represents what we think, or believe, and the mark in the hand represents what we do, or our actions. Normally, though, some things about prophecy are best interpreted as they come to pass. I will not be receiving any microchip, nor my children, nor my grandchildren. The New World Order is still moving ahead with its plans, and prophecy says it WILL happen, before the Kingdom of God becomes a reality. However, if you do not believe that U.S. Citizens will actively resist the government, you watch– if our government tries this, the streets and streams will run red with blood. There is no reason under the sun why any government should want to microchip the citizenry, and in THIS nation, the government is supposed to belong to the citizens, NOT the other way around. We have been railroaded about as far as we are going to tolerate.

    1. drrgrivera says:

REALISTIC. GOOD ONE: “..the mark in the forehead represents what we think, or believe, and the mark in the hand represents what we do, or our actions…”

      1. drrgrivera says:

Yes… to decide…to think and do as mankind does…to reckon: choice.
{not setting your mind on things of God, but on things of man.”] most certainly MARK OF THE BEAST.

Sounds like a prophecy of Antifa, doesn’t it?

      2. Tina says:

Absolutely, I had this revelation a few days ago and it scared me to death. I’m disabled. On Medicaid and tons of meds so I can make it through a single day and night. Financially I am always a step.behind. I can not continue to be worrying. Then it’s on my mind or in my fore head.

    2. JOHN MAHER says:

I WONDER WHAT ORANGUtRUMPS OPINION on the SUBJECT IS ???, DUMP the ORANGUtRUMP

  12. Dan Anderson says:

At one time, the “Mark of the Beast” was the U.S. Social Security number. The problem with that is that it is not global. Next, it was the UPC Barcode. That never took hold. Now the RFID Microchip?

Part of the difficulty is that now, it appears that “666” is NOT the proper number but “616” according to new findings in old scrolls found.

    http://www.religionnewsblog.com/11134/beasts-real-mark-devalued-to-616

It amazes me that so many people are taking all of this so seriously, given that so many stories in the Bible (Global Flood of Noah, Adam & Eve, Moses’ Exodus) are allegory and not literal, given there has been no evidence found whatsoever. There are Christian theologians who point out that the Book of Revelation is a “coded” writing about the times of the emperor Nero, not some futuristic event which is “just around the corner.”

    1. John Owens says:

Good points all, Dan. I would further point out that the scripture does NOT say that the MARK is the NUMBER or the NUMBER is the MARK, but that the Number of the Beast is the Number of a man. So, people are thinking the number IS the mark, but that is not what the scripture says.

      1. John Owens says:

Oh, and I would further add that there are references about the daily sacrifice and the Temple, which I believe was already done away with at that time, so it has to be rebuilt or re-instituted, and then chapters 20 through 22 are definitely future.

    2. Tina says:

Ps. Archiologists just found Noahs Ark. I dont know much. But i know in my spirit that God must have kept it safe and buried for end times to help us in our faith. The bible must not just be read as is without praying and asking God to reveal the true meaning. I believe you are correct about all of the different translations and how some could have been changed by man’s influence. I truly believe God still reveals truth to His people. I wish you all the best.

    3. Todd says:

There is a story of a great flood in cultures around the world. So how is that allegory. Moses escape? How is that not true? Methi is you have never read a Christian bible. I will give you Adam and eve as that speaks to a group and how man let God down by eating the forbidden fruit.

  13. Thomas Costello Jr. says:

No I would not get one. Also it is not the number of the beast

  14. Thunder says:

Mark of the beast or not,,,who wants a microchip in their body. It’s an invasion of our fourth amendment rights. We have already seen how invasive the powers to be are with the NSA etc. This is a no brainer. No chips for me thank-you!

  15. Charles Petzold says:

Oh, it IS the number of the Beast. I work in New York City and know the makers of this evil right down the block. The Left in America are pushing the mark of the Beast, and it was even in the first draft of Obamacare, before some Congressmen found it. The Left, or “left hand path” as in Satanism will use technology to further evil. And by the way, the chip was developed by Lucent (Lucifer) Technologies at 666 Fifth Avenue New York, NY….and no, that’s not a joke

    1. Tina says:

      Please tell me more.

  16. kevin oleary says:

chip mark of the beast bible said forehead or hand don’t take mark of the beast

  17. Linda Capps says:

No I wouldn’t but then again I have a “dumb” phone without GPS…I figure that whoever the powers that be may want to track their citizens they’re going to have to work harder to get me. Besides when the “Mark of the Beast” is given people will know exactly what it is and the ones giving permission have then stated their fidelity, they won’t be “tricked” into getting it…because it is supposed to show those who willing give their loyalty to the Anti-Christ

  18. Charles Petzold says:

Theres something that needs to be understood. Satan is the ruler of this false world or synthetic matrix we live in. There are still many organic parts of our world to be seen, but the overlay of Satan makes it pale in comparison to what we should be experiencing. Satan hates the natural world, and wants to make it completely synthetic. Technological control is the method. The RFID chip (once our SSN number before the chip) is just a part of that system. It is all around us…. public school indoctrination, our career options in college, taxation, Ponzi scheme money/economics, licensing/permits, civil (admiralty) law, census, biometrics, etc. Our very lives are even pre-determined by use of vaccine, pharma, and the poisons added to food/air/water. Theres a reason we went from horseback to space travel in just 75 years…its because Satan is in a quickening mode to put the world on lockdown in fear that we are in a time of awakening. Technology is Satan’s tool in modern times. The world will split between those who continue to march towards Satan’s planned technocratic hell, and those who try to run back to nature and get off of Satan’s grid.

I know it is very difficult, but as moral, decent and Creator loving people we must resist all of this the best we can, and attempt to lead organic lives.

    1. John Owens says:

Agreed, Charles. Satan hates carbon life forms, because He knows we shall inherit the Earth, though He has ruled for a very long time.

      1. Charles Petzold says:

Ive actually heard it put another way. That Satan trapped us in carbon, and we were once much more “unbound”. Carbon having 6 protons, 6 neutrons & 6 electrons (666)

        1. John Owens says:

That’s interesting. I never paid attention to the carbon atom in that regard, but the number of the man (in scripture) is not three sixes, but six-hundred, sixty-six,(six hundred, threescore, and six) and someone on this blog wrote that it should actually be six-hundred, sixteen. I do not think that Satan Himself has the power to trap us in carbon, though. He had to encourage us to be disobedient, like Balak and Balaam did the Israelites later. Still, that carbon atom thing is fascinating, because the scripture says the number of the Beast is the number of a man, and his number is six hundred, threescore, and six. I have always been taught that the numerical value of PONTIFEX MAXIMUS adds up to six hundred, sixty-six, and also other titles of the High Priest of Babylon add up to that. Still, there will be ONE world religion at some point, and it will be oppressive. Perhaps that is why the secular people have been deceived into trying to support Islamists, because the secularists will help do away with Christianity and Judaism, and the Islamists will use the sword to convert the remainder. Never mind that they will also kill the secularists. All of it remains to be seen.

      2. Aal says:

But didn’t Christ win the Earth with His crucifixion and resurrection? And aren’t the End Times about satan trying to win it back?

        1. John Owens says:

No, Aal. He QUALIFIED to be Redeemer of all the Earth and King. The end times are about Satan trying to destroy all He can before His time runs out.

      3. JOHN MAHER says:

YEP JOHN OWENS and NOW HE’s in the W H, UR W H. DUMP the ORANGUtRUMP

        1. John Owens says:

No. He finished his second term and he and his boyfriend moved into his WALLED estate across the street from the biggest mosque in DC.

  19. Thomas Clapp says:

Of course I’d get one. The thing is, it’d have to be something I approved of. If it became mandatory as identification, I don’t think myself or others would enjoy it.
Preferably, I’d like to see it used in a way that’s useful to me, not somebody else.

  20. David says:

meh, in my faith the only mention of a beast is sin which is said to be like a crouching beast at the door ready to pounce. micro chips, satan beasts, anti christs 666 and all those other things that go bump in the night aint my bag baby. i just dont see it as something to get my uns in a bunch over.

  21. Bill Fox says:

I’m not concerned. I still have cash in my wallet as well as credit cards. I have been hearing about the “cashless society” going on thirty years (I didn’t care about it before that). Star Trek in the 1960s was based on a “cashless society”. Yet, there it is, still in my wallet. Cash. So, the idea that I have to be chipped or I won’t be able to buy a Big Mac, probably isn’t in the cards any time soon.

    1. Roger Thunderhands Gilbert says:

Don’t worry but don’t become complacent either!

    2. Dan Anderson says:

Bill – just for giggles, I tell people in some markets that, as I am using cash, that I DO have two forms of identification!

  22. Chuck Petzold says:

I hear a lot of people “not concerned” about whats coming, using reasoning such as…I have nothing to hide, I have money in the bank, etc. And even using examples like the cashless Star Trek model to deem it as positive. The problem is, that whether you have nothing to hide or not, you NEVER want your freedom of action/movement controlled by some up on high power. Because eventually, people will realize the hell they have stumbled into, and there will be no escape. A cashless society means you can be shut down and ruined if you so much as express disdain for the system. Because it wont just be money that is controlled by the mark of the beast. It will be educational opportunity, employment, travel restriction, credit, and all forms of other “permissions”. Much like Communist nations, it will also employ a “social credit rating” where one gets points for how much they participate in the system.

I find that Jews don’t seem very concerned about any of this, because they believe they are just going along with “God’s” plan, and being good contributors. If you are of pure Gnostic faith however, you know the Old Testament God is one in the same as Satan. Islam (real Islam anyway) wants nothing to do with the beast system, and that’s why they fight the West where it is coming from tooth and nail….what they don’t realize however, is that they are being used as spreaders of destabilization in the Western nations they have gone to (Europe/USA) as well as to get the West slowly used to Totalitarianism…specifically Christians. Muslims will then be slaughtered once they are done serving their purpose. And of course, the Atheists will simply do as they are told, not realizing that worshipping the State is the same as worshipping Satan.

Satan always uses pleasant seeming terminology to promote world dictatorship….. Socialism, Globalism, Global Village, Integration, Inclusiveness, etc. Why?, because the plan is to get rid of nations that can defend themselves from this Satanic takeover, and form a handful of consolidated “world unions” to make up Satanic one world government. They have already succeeded in the Soviet Union (even if we don’t call it that anymore), the European Union, and the African Union. Their next goals are a Pacific Union, North American Union and South American Union. The powers that be are very well aware that American Christians in particular are going to be a huge obstacle, and this is why we are under assault non-stop.

BTW….back to the Star Trek thing….. Many writers and Satanists talk about the ultimate plan (once Earth is under Satanic one world rule), is to use us to assist Satan in conquering the rest of the physical Universe. If you want a more accurate picture, I would use Star Wars… The Empire would represent this expansion into space, and the rebels would be those fighting against it.

I feel lucky that I am close to retirement. No, I would not let my company implant a microchip. There is no reason for it. We are humans, not animals or robots.

  24. Jim says:

OH MY GOSH!!! Now that I’ve stopped laughing long enough to write this… I read the article and first thought it was a joke. Then I started reading all the posts. Holy crap! You guys are really buying into this, aren’t you?

People, it’s technology. It’s not the Mark of the Beast. It’s a tool, like a screwdriver, or a calculator. The evil is not inherent in the inanimate object that is the subject of the article. The evil is in the hearts and minds of those who would use such a tool for evil purposes.

Is a stone evil? No. Even though Cain killed Abel with a stone, the stone is not evil. Nor was the stone evil that killed Cain when his house fell in on him. It’s just a stone.

Is the jawbone of a donkey evil? No. Even though Sampson used the jawbone of a donkey to kill a thousand men, the jawbone is not evil. It’s just a bone.

If a man beats his neighbor’s head with a hammer, is the hammer evil? No, it’s just a hammer, a tool. Is the man that wields the hammer evil, or is the act of killing his neighbor evil? I don’t know. Maybe both. But the hammer is still not evil.

Technology is nothing more than the result of knowledge. And knowledge is the destroyer of gods and myths. 1800 years ago, the Earth was the center of the universe, and it was heresy to think otherwise. Eventually, knowledge won out. 500 years ago, the world was flat, and it was heresy to think otherwise. Knowledge won out again. And it goes on and on. Religion explains to us all the things we don’t know, like the composition of stars, the movement of stars and planets, and so on. One by one, knowledge explains these things, nudging God out of the picture bit by bit. Just because we don’t know or understand something yet, does not mean we should attribute it to God. I have heard it said if that’s how you want to invoke your evidence for God, then God is the ever-receding pocket of scientific ignorance that’s getting smaller and smaller and smaller as time moves on. I believe it was Neil deGrasse Tyson.

These chips are just tools of technology, and nothing more. How they will be used remains to be seen.

    1. Dan Anderson says:

Jim – Well put. Thank you for your clarity on the perspective of this issue.

If one were to take into consideration of historicity in these stories and issues of the Book of Revelation, one would know it has nothing to do with futuristic issues, anyway.

  25. Leslie Henry says:

No way will I accept this travesty! If required @ gunpoint, then I’ll take the bullet, If inserted without permission, I’ll kill it with an EMP. This may not be everyone’s attitude, but it’s mine.

    1. John Owens says:

      Sounds appropriate, Leslie. Same here.

  26. Karsten Johansson says:

When the world turns solely to cryptocurrency, and your blockchain address is encoded on such an implant, then it would satisfy the definition of the mark – without it you would not be able to buy or sell. And good chance it will be in your hand, allowing you to wave it over the scanner at your local grocery mart.

  27. Chuck says:

They are going to handle the RFID Chip much the same way they handle vaccines. Workplaces/schools that ask people to get vaccines have until recently had an opt-out waiver……then they stopped telling people about the waiver….. then they asked for you to “prove” your reasons for rejecting it….then they made people wear face masks to shame them for not getting it….and finally, they stated in new documents it was a requirement of employment.

In the workplace, they will make getting paid and things like security an extreme hassle to get through as incentive.

In school, they will cut you off from certain services on campus (or make them difficult to access) without the chip.

In travel, they will make it a nightmare to get through screening without the chip.

In banking, they will make it a nightmare to get through screening without the chip.

In shopping, they will make it a nightmare to get through screening without the chip.

Entering buildings, they will make it a nightmare to get through screening without the chip.

Hotels will start using it as a room key.

Cars will start using it for ignition.

Tolls will use it for payment.

They will use it for logging into computers.

And if all that isn’t enough, at some point they will simply start chipping infants at birth in the hospital. Try and get your kid out of the hospital first, you will be arrested…..the same way they arrest people for sneaking their kids out before initial vaccines are given. Robert Kennedy Jr. was grabbed by police in my area for doing exactly that!! Because the higher ups in society are aware all of these things are tools against us.
