Where does everyone stand on “Same Sex Marriage”?

With the ongoing push from the left to legalize same sex marriage, and the continued uphill battle from the right to prevent that from happening; where do the rest of us actually stand?

Will The Real Threat To “Traditional Marriage” Please Stand Up?, By: Martyn Valenzuela

So are Gays really a threat to the institution of marriage? According to NOM and numerous other Christian groups you would think it so. The truth of the matter is that more and more heterosexual men and women are choosing not only to not to marry but also to have children out of wed-lock. The National Center for Health statistics shows that nearly 40% of all births last year were from unwed mothers. Surprisingly many of these women were single mothers by choice. These trends were so alarming that the Bush administration launched the Healthy Marriage Initiative- a program that spends $100 million a year to promote the benefits and teach the secrets of happy marriages.

  1. Rev. Clarice Marlene Moore-Grantt - Marlene's Ministry Corner says:

In regards to the question are Gays a threat to the institution of marriage my answer is an astounding YES! My disgust to this is how society is going along with this insanity as if it is moralistically the correct thing to do. Such a damaging message to send to the oncoming generations. The institution of marriage should remain as God intended between a man and a woman. How can anyone doubt God’s intension here when he created woman from the rib of man? Todays society is one who want to make changes in every area of life-as-we-know-it to fit into their own design of things. The Bible is the only book that is never outdated. Other publications become outdated after some ten years of existence. God in his infinite wisdom inspired prophets to write the Bible designed as a guide for life for us all not just a choice few. With this passage of Gay marriages there will apparently be many ongoing changes that will transpire in regards of such. We are drifting further and further away from what the Bible suggests for mankind. One solution for this is that we stand for what we know is God’s intended purpose for this regardless of what may be said about your decision or who might disagree. We as a people need to refer to the Bible for enlightenment and guidance for our daily living and inspire others in the process of it all.

    1. Daniel says:

As an addition to this the mainstream church has panicked over the falling congregation numbers and has decided to alter it’s doctrine rather than address it’s relevance.God requires the respect of man to obey his word rather than figure out ways to manipulate it for his own benefit.

  2. Daniel says:

Leviticus 18 gives us a clear indication of how God views this.in saying that we have got to engage across the broadest spectrum of society in order to be able to convey the message of the bible in the hope that God will aid people in coming into the fold.
