Gary E. Schwartz, Ph.D., is a professor of psychology, medicine, neurology, psychiatry, and surgery at the University of Arizona and director of its Laboratory for Advances in Consciousness and Health. After receiving his doctorate from Harvard University, he served as professor of psychology and psychiatry at Yale University, director of the Yale Psychophysiology Center, and co-director of the Yale Behavioral Medicine Clinic, before moving to Arizona in 1988. He has published more than four hundred scientific papers and coedited eleven academic books. He is the author of The Afterlife Experiments and The Truth About Medium and coauthor of The Living Energy Universe.

I have probably read hundreds of books on the Afterlife but have never come across a book quite like The Afterlife Experiments by Gary E. Schwartz. Once of the most fascinating things about this book is that as you read it, you get the feeling that the author is incredibly passionate about the Afterlife and has dedicated his life to its study. Performing experiments with various psychics and mediums, Schwartz clearly takes great lengths to prevent any possibility of tampering with the tests mentioned in this book. After reading the details of these experiments, I found myself truly gasping in disbelief at some of their findings. After reading, even a few, excerpts from this book youll be drawn in, completely intrigued by the experiments performed by Schwartz and his colleagues. While many, dismiss mysticism and psychic phenomena as pure hoax and trickery, this wonderful book has been able to convince me otherwise. Pick it up and decide for yourself!
